HL Deb 15 May 1928 vol 71 cc30-2
THE LORD CHANCELLOR (LORD HAILSHAM)

My Lords, before the Motion is made for the adjournment, I might mention that it has transpired that a debate of two days will be required for the Representation of the People (Equal Franchise) Bill next week. I gather through the usual channels that it is desired that the debate shall finish on Tuesday and begin on Monday. It is proposed, therefore, that the House shall sit on Monday, and the Notice which is necessary will be placed on the Paper to enable the Franchise Bill to be taken on that day.

House adjourned at five minutes before six o'clock.
