HL Deb 12 March 1925 vol 60 c524
THE EARL OF DONOUGHMORE

My Lords, I beg to move the Motion standing in my name. My noble friend Lord Denman has communicated to me that owing to the state of his health he has to be abroad during the next few weeks. My sympathy goes out to him and I wish him a speedy cure from his trouble. He suggested that we should replace him on this Committee, which I am glad to say is within sight of a Report, and it is desirable therefore that our numbers should be full for this purpose. I am glad that my noble friend Lord Allendale has consented to serve, and I beg, therefore, to move that this Motion be agreed to.

Moved, That the Lord Denman be discharged from serving on the Select Committee, and that the Viscount Allendale be added to the Committee in his place.—(The Earl of Donoughmore.)

On Question, Motion agreed to, and ordered accordingly.
