Mr. Cuthert M. Headlam, Clerk of Public Bills, having resigned from the Parliament Office on his election as Member of Parliament, the vacancy in the Public Bill Office has been filled by the appointment of Mr. F. W. Lascelles. Mr. Lascelles's position will not be quite similar to that of Mr. Headlam, and the Committee sanctioned the payment to him of a salary of £600 per annum, with an annual increment of £25 per annum, to a maximum of £1,000.

Mr. Geoffrey Hugh Eastwood has been appointed to fill the vacancy as Junior Clerk in the Parliament Office.

Both these appointments will date from the 1st of January, 1925.
