Consequential and Minor Amendment of existing enactments.

Enactment to be Amended Nature of Amendment.
The lands Valuation (Scotland) Act, 1854. (17 & 18 Vict. c.91.) Section 28 For the reference to the Lord Clerk Register or his deputy there shall be substituted a reference to the Keeper of the Records.
Section 35 For the reference to the Lord Clerk Register of Scotland or his deputy where first occurring there shall be substituted a reference to the Secretary for Scotland, and for the reference to the Lord Clerk Register or his deputy where second occurring there shall be substituted a reference to the Keeper of the Records
Enactment to be Amended. Nature of Amendment
The Writs Registration (Scotland) Act, 1868. (31 & 32 Vict. c. 34.) Section 3 For the reference to the Lord Clerk Register there shall be substituted a reference to the Secretary for Scotland.
The Land Registers (Scotland) Act, 1868. (31 & 32 Vict. c. 64.) Section 9 For the references to the Lord Clerk Register there shall be substituted references to the Secretary for Scotland.
Section 10 For the references to the Lord Clerk Register there shall be substituted references to the Keeper of the Records.
Section 12 For the reference to the Lord Clerk Register or his deputies, where first occurring, and for the reference to I he Deputy Keeper of the Records, there shall be substituted references to the Keeper of the Records; and for the references to the Lord Clerk Register where subsequently occurring there shall be substituted references to the Secretary for Scotland.
Sections 17, 19, and 24 For the references to the Lord Clerk Register there shall be substituted references to the Secretary for Scotland.
Schedule B. For the reference to the Deputy Keeper of the Records there shall be substituted a reference to the Keeper of the Records.
The Titles to Land Consolidation (Scotland) Act, 1868. (31 & 32 Vict. c. 101.) Sections 36, 38, and 68. For the references to the Lord Clerk Register there shall be substituted references to the Secretary for Scotland.
The Sheriff Courts (Scotland) Act, 1876. (39 & 40 Vict. c. 70.) Section 45 For the reference to the Lord Clerk Register there shall be substituted a reference to the Keeper of the Records.
The Lord Clerk Register (Scotland) Act, 1879. (42 & 43 Vict. c. 41.) Section 10 For the reference to the Deputy Clerk Register there shall be substituted a reference to the Keeper of the

Records, and the following proviso shall be added to thatsection:— "Provided that when "any writ or document "is in the custody of "the Keeper of the "General Register of "Sasines, or the Keeper of the Register of "Deeds, the order may "be made on the Keeper having the "custody thereof."
The Scottish Board of Health Act, 1919. (9 & 10 Geo. 5, c, 20.) Subsection (2) of Section 3. The words from "and "shall at all times" to the end of the first paragraph of the subsection shall be repealed.

The provisions in the Schedule have now become unnecessary and it is therefore necessary to move the Amendments which are on the Order Paper, to leave out the references to the Land Valuation (Scotland) Act, 1854, the Writs Registration (Scotland) Act, 1868, and the Land Registers (Scotland) Act, 1868, down to "Schedule B" in the first column, and the references to the Titles to Land Consolidation (Scotland) Act, 1868, and the Sheriff Courts (Scotland) Act, 1876.
