HL Deb 06 August 1924 vol 59 c485

Message from the Commons: That they agree to certain of the Amendments made by the Lords to the Agricultural Wages Bill without amendment, they disagree to one other Amendment and have made an Amendment in lieu thereof and they disagree to certain other Amendments for which they assign Reasons.

LORD PARMOOR:

My Lords, I beg to move that we consider the Reasons sent from the House of Commons in connection with the Agricultural Wages Bill.

Moved, That the Commons Amendment and Reasons be now considered.—(Lord Parmoor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

LORD PARMOOR:

Noble Lords, I think, have the statement of the Lords Amendments before them. In regard to those on page 1, the Amendments are agreed to and therefore no question arises about them.

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY:

All the Amendments on page 1?

LORD PARMOOR:

Yes, all the Amendments on page 1, as well as one on page 3.
