[The EARL of DONOUGHMORE in the Chair.]

THE EARL OF ANCASTER

My Lords, I beg to move that the Amendments made in the Consolidation Committee be agreed to.

Moved, That the Amendments made in the Consolidation Committee be agreed to.—(The Earl of Ancaster.)

LORD MUIR MACKENZIE

My Lords, the noble Earl just now said something about delay. I do not think there has been much delay with this Bill, or with the Agricultural Holdings (Scotland) Bill.

THE EARL OF ANCASTER

My Lords, I should have said that we are much indebted to the noble Lord and his Committee for the labour they have expended on the Agricultural Holdings Bill, and for the expeditious way in which they have reported it to the House. I can only hope, for the sake of the fisheries of England, that he and his Committee will be as expeditious with the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Bill. I have no doubt he will do his best.

On Question, Motion agreed to, and Amendments made accordingly.
