HL Deb 11 July 1910 vol 6 c61
LORD ELLENBOROUGH

My Lords, I rise to put the Question that stands in my name—viz., to ask His Majesty's Government if they will present a Return extending over three years showing the proportion of total losses of steamers registered in the United Kingdom owned by single ship companies to the total number of steamers employed in those years; and a similar Return showing the proportion of total losses incurred by the rest of our mercantile steam fleet to the total number of steamers employed, such Returns to include all ships of 600 tons net and upwards.

LORD HAMILTON OF DALZELL

The information for which the noble Lord asks is in the possession of the Board of Trade, and the Return will be laid on the Table as soon as possible.
