My Lords, I move the Motion standing in my name for the amendment of the Standing Orders. It is a Motion which is usually made towards the close of the session, though I do not know whether I am correct in so describing the present moment. The principal alterations are to include motor roads and tram-roads, because that is a new form of road and there are no provisions for it at present. The other principal alterations require that Bills relating to different works should be deposited at certain Government offices other than those at which the Standing Orders at present provide that Bills should be deposited.

Moved, That the Standing Orders be amended as follows:
