HL Deb 31 May 1889 vol 336 c1518
EARL GRANVILLE

Would it be convenient for the noble Marquess to state the date on which he proposes that the House should adjourn for the Whitsuntide recess?

THE PRIME MINISTER AND SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS (The Marquess of SALISBURY)

The noble Earl is aware that the other House adjourns on Thursday next. I think it will be convenient for your Lordships to adjourn on the same day and re-assemble on Thursday fortnight.
