HL Deb 16 July 1889 vol 338 cc514-5

Order of the Day for the Second Reading read.

* LORD KNUTSFORD

My Lords, I have only to say that part of the boundary has been settled by a decision of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, part has been settled by an old Proclamation of 1791, and part by agreement. The boundaries are now set out in an Address from the Legislature of Canada which is scheduled to this Bill, to which I ask your Lordships to give a Second Reading.

Read 2ª (according to order), and committed to a Committee of the Whole House on Thursday next.
