HL Deb 25 January 1886 vol 302 cc302-3

Moved for Return—

  1. 1. Of the number of registered electors in each county, city, and borough, or division of a county, city, or borough, in Ireland returning members to Parliament;
  2. 2. Of the number of electors who voted in each of the above at the late general election;
  3. 3. Of the number of electors, voting in each of the above at the late general election, who declared themselves illiterate.—(The Earl of Limerick.)

LORD DE ROS

said, Returns 1 and 2 could be granted. There would be no difficulty in supplying them; and as to the third, the Sheriffs must be referred to; but, no doubt, no difficulty would be met with in obtaining it also.

Motion agreed to.

Return ordered to be laid before the House.
