§ THE EARL OF DERBYMy Lords, I have received a statement to the effect that the Treaty of Peace will probably be signed to-morrow. I have also a statement which has reached me from various sources—and I hope there can be no doubt of its accuracy—-that the demand for the cession of the Turkish Fleet has been withdrawn.
