HL Deb 10 December 1878 vol 243 c405
EARL DE LA WARR

asked, Whether it was the intention of Her Majesty's Government to introduce a Bill this Session on the subject of the liability of employers for injuries received by their servants; and, if so, whether it was likely to be brought in at an early day?

EARL BEAUCHAMP

, in reply, said, he was not surprised at the Question of the noble Lord; because he stated, in answer to a similar Question last Session, that the Attorney General had promised to bring in a measure on the subject this year. He was unable to state the provisions of the Bill, or the time at which it would be introduced.
