HL Deb 17 March 1876 vol 228 cc169-70
LORD INCHIQUIN

in presenting a Bill to amend the Law concerning the Peerage of Ireland, said, the measure was founded on that portion of the recommendations of the Select Committee of their Lordships' House on the Scotch and Irish Peerage which referred to the latter. As he understood it would be more convenient for their Lordships to discuss the matter on the second reading, he would now merely move that the Bill be read a first time.

Bill to amend the Law concerning the Peerage of Ireland, presented by The LORD INCHIQUIN; read 1a; to be printed; and to be read 2a on Friday the 31st instant. (No. 32.)

House adjourned at a quarter before Six o'clock, to Monday next, a quarter before Five o'clock.
