Clause 12 (Procedure in applications under Entail Acts).

THE EARL OF CAMPERDOWN

moved to insert after sub-section (1.) the following sub-section, to be numbered (2.):— Applications shall be made by summary petition, signed by the applicant or his agent. All proceedings therein may take place at the Lord Ordinary's chambers, and agents may at all stages appear for the parties.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

opposed the Amendment.
