Bill read 3a (according to order), with the Amendments.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

moved to insert, after Clause 14, the following clause:— (" Maliciously" in this Act construed as in Malicious Injuries to Property Act.) The word 'maliciously' used in reference to any offence under this Act shall he construed in the same manner as it is required by the fifty-eighth section of the Act relating to malicious injuries to property, that is to say, the Act of the session of the twenty-fourth and twenty-fifth years of the reign of Her present Majesty, chapter ninety-seven, to be construed in reference to any offence committed under such last mentioned.

Clause agreed to, and added to the Bill.
