HL Deb 20 June 1873 vol 216 cc1216-7
LORD CHELMSFORD

inquired whether it was the intention of the Govern- ment to move an adjournment over Monday next, on which day the Naval Review in honour of the Shah would be held.

EARL GRANVILLE

observed that there was but one Motion of importance on the Paper for that day. He did not know whether his noble Friend (Lord Redesdale) intended to bring it forward.

LORD REDESDALE

said, he should certainly do so in the event of the House meeting.

EARL GRANVILLE

said, the matter was in the hands of their Lordships. He should be guided by the opinions that might be expressed in reference to it.

No noble Lord rising,

EARL GRANVILLE

said, he should make the usual Motion for adjourning till Monday.
