HL Deb 13 July 1866 vol 184 cc811-2

(NO. 166.) THIRD READING.

Order of the Day for the Third Reading read.

Moved, "That the Bill be now read 3a." —(The Lord Cranworth.)

LORD TEYNHAM

said, he objected to the Bill, and he hoped their Lordships would not proceed further with it, considering the present period of the Session.

LORD CRANWORTH

said, the noble Lord had not objected to the Bill in its former stages, and though the Session might be short there would be plenty of time to pass this measure. There was no reason why it should not be passed. He hoped no further difficulties would be interposed.

On Question, Resolved in the Affirmative.

Bill read 3* accordingly; Amendments made; Bill passed, and sent to the Commons.

House adjourned at half past Eight o'clock, to Monday next, Eleven o'clock.
