, in moving that the Bill be now read the third time, said, that the opinion of the Law Officers had been taken on the doubt suggested by the noble and learned Lord (Lord Chelmsford) as to the transfer of the rights of the Hudson's Bay Company to a new Company, and it was that there was not the slightest doubt as to the legality of it.

Bill read 3a and passed, and sent to the Commons.
