proposed the following Address of Congratulation to Prince Albert on the birth of the Prince of Wales. That a Message be sent from this House to His Royal Highness Prince Albert of Saxe Cobourg and Gotha, to congratulate His Royal Highness on Her Majesty's happy Delivery, and the Birth of The Prince of Wales; to assure His Royal Highness of the sincere Part this House takes in an Event which so nearly interests the domestic Happiness of His Royal Highness, and to express the Satisfaction with which we see this Pledge that the Civil and Religious Liberties of this Country will be perpetuated under a Race of Princes descended from his Royal Highness. Agreed to, nemine dissentiente, and the Marquess of Exeter, and the Lord Colville of Culross were ordered to carry the said Message.
