The Marquess of Lansdowne moved the Order of the Day for the third reading of the Tithe Commutation Bill.

The Duke of Richmond

proposed to substitute a form of affirmation instead of an oath in the 9th Clause of the Bill.

Motion negatived.

Several verbal amendments were made, and the Bill was read a third time and passed.
