The Lord Chancellor

informed the House, that the Address of their Lordships had been carried up to his Majesty, who had been pleased to return the following most gracious Answer:—"I thank your Lordships for your loyal and dutiful Address. I receive with the greatest satisfaction your assurances of cordial cooperation with me in the adoption of all those measures that are calculated to promote the happiness and concord of my subjects."
