Queen's Recommendation having been signified

Motion made, and Question put, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to remove the restriction on the sale and supply, otherwise than by the Secretary of State, of intoxicating liquor in the Carlisle district or of excisable liquor in the State management districts in Scotland, it is expedient to authorise

  1. (a) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of expenses incurred by the Secretary of State in the exercise of his functions under the Act;
  2. 1081
