May I ask the Prime Minister, in view of the Motion on the Paper for the suspension of the Eleven o'Clock Rule, what business he proposes to take to-night?

The Prime Minister

We desire to obtain the Second Reading of the Road Haulage Wages (No. 2) Bill and the Committee stage of the Money Resolution; and we also propose to take the Committee and remaining stages of the Post Office (Sites) Bill and the Report stage of the Fire Brigades Money Resolution.

Motion made, and Question put, That the Proceedings on Government Business be exempted, at this day's Sitting, from the provisions of the Standing Order (Sittings of the House)."—[The Prime Minister.]
