On a point of Order. Are we to understand that the Government accept the Amendment standing in the name of my right hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Newcastle-under-Lyme (Colonel Wedgwood)—

In page 8, line 32, at the end, to add the words: Provided nevertheless that, when acquiring land compulsorily, the arbitrator

shall take into account when possible the present gross assessable value of such land for rating purposes.
